General

Standard and Pochin Enclosure Systems is a trade name used by MVM Sheet Metal Fabrications.

 

Definitions


The 'Company' shall mean Standard and Pochin Enclosure Systems. 'Goods' shall mean the Products, Articles, Materials, Packaging, Components and Sercives supplied or otherwise dealt in the Company. The customer shall mean the company, organisation, individual who places the order with Standard and Pochin Enclosure Systems.

 

Terms & Conditions of Sale


The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions with Standard and Pochin Enclosure Systems. The placement of an order indicates the customer's acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference. These terms and conditions do not affect the customers statutory rights. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by the customer to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions. If the goods are delivered to a third party, it is the responsibility of the customer to make any such party aware of any relevant terms and conditions.

 

Payment

 

We accept the following payments:- PayPal - Select PayPal as a payment option when ordering, then remit the total amount payable to our dedicated email address – sales@cabinets.co.uk. Cheques or postal orders - we accept U.K. cheques or postal orders, made payable to `MVM Sheet Metal Fabrications’.

Please note personal cheques can only be accepted when drawn in £ sterling from a UK clearing bank. Overseas cheques cannot be accepted. Credit, Debit cards - payments can be made securely through this website or you can telephone/fax your card details to us.

If you select to send a U.K. cheque this will take five working days to clear before we can dispatch the goods to you.

 

Delivery Shipping and handling

 

You will be notified of the actual postage charges as you proceed through the PayPal check out area. You are not committed to any purchase until you enter your payment details.

Most items are delivered the following day from the date of order. On occasion goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods.

You will be given a delivery cost when checking out. The delivery cost is valid for for most of the mainland UK with the following exceptions; Northern Ireland (BT), Isle of Man (IM), Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles (PA, ML, EH, KA, G, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, KW), Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles (HS, ZE) which will incur additional charges (e-mail us for a quotation) and may also experience delivery delays.

 

Cancellation of Orders


Any order cancellations must be made in writing including fax or email (a telephone call is not accepted) prior to the goods been dispatched. Orders for non-stock products cannot be cancelled.

 

Notification of Claims


If goods or packaging arrive in a damaged condition a note must be made on the carrier's delivery consignment note. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure they sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's consignment note. Any damaged goods, shortages or incorrect goods must be notified to the company within 48 hours from delivery. We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless these conditions are met. If in the unlikely event that goods are delivered damaged or otherwise visibly faulty, please ensure that the customer retains all the original packaging. If goods returned under this clause are found to be perfect and in full working order, these will be returned to the customer and an administration/restocking fee of 35% of the price of the goods along with the cost of carriage will be charged.

 

Returns and Refunds


Apart from damaged goods referred to in 'Notification of Claims' above, no goods may be returned without prior written agreement from Standard and Pochin Enclosure Systems and any returns must be notified in writing by the customer within 5 working days from the date of delivery stating the reason for the return. It is the customer's responsibility to return any goods in a pristine saleable condition and in their original box and packaging. The customer will be totally responsible for the return of the goods and any costs of return will be the customer's responsibility, including taking adequate insurance on the goods should they be damaged in transit. Goods received back incomplete, damaged or in any condition other than saleable, will be returned to the customer and the cost of return carriage charged. The Company reserves the right to impose a cancellation of 15% on any order cancelled. No refunds will be considered if already installed unless proven to be faulty. Availability of Goods All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If the goods are not supplied for any reason we will not charge for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating the customer for any other losses the customer may suffer if we do not supply the goods

 

Product Guarantees - General

 

All products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of Standard and Pochin Enclosure Systems for a period of 12 months. This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, and misuse. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Goods must be returned 'AS SOLD' in the original packaging with all components and accessories.
Goods must be complete, unused, and in 'AS NEW' condition (eg if you have opened the box to examine the product it must have been done so without damaging the box and packaging or damaging the product in any way) and must be re-packaged as received.

Goods must be returned to our Returns Department within 14 days from authorisation. We are unable to accept returns of un-wanted and non-faulty items after the 14 days.
